Adventures of a Diverse Palate:
Finding dishes that are always pleasing to the taste buds can be difficult, but I’ve always been “that girl” who would try everything. I find foods from different cultures to be very pleasing to my senses. The aromas of Tikka Masala and Turkish Adana were weekly staples in my home during the summer. I’ve raised my children to be open to diverse foods, introducing them to dishes such as Thai style curry chicken and at a young age. Although they still enjoy those “American” staples such as pizza, hot dogs and mac and cheese, my son’s more willing to try new things than my daughter is. I’ve made several attempts at home to make those international dishes I love so much.
