Hilton Garden Inn Montreal Centre-ville

Located in the heart of Montreal, the Hilton Garden Inn Montrealย was definitely the perfect location for me and my family when we took a short trip to Montreal, Canada at the end of winter. I loved that it was walking distance from most attractions, especially Old Quebec and China Town. The best part of all this, it was 3 blocks away from the underground mall and museums. When we got tired of room service budget-friendly restaurants were right outside the hotel or in walking distance.

The Room!

I have no complaints when it comes to the room. The beds were large and comfortable. I also loved that I had some great views of a main avenue. The bathroom was spacious with a large tub. And at the end of each day my kids were able to go from having a swim in the pool to taking a nice bath without feeling cramped before going to bed.

The Pool!

There are no words for the pool area. Located on the rooftop with city-views that made it the icing on the cake. Honestly, nothing beats staying at a hotel in the winter and being able to spend time in the pool and jacuzzi.

Final Thoughts!

Although I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel there were a few areas where they were lacking in meeting my needs. I felt the restaurant on the property could have served better food, or at least have more options. I didn’t like the fact that the grill closed early, making it difficult to order room service after a certain time at night. I must say though the underground garage was a plus, especially for winter-time travel. Making my overall stay and experience one where the positives outweigh the negative ones.

  1. I think Hilton hotels always stand by the name they’ve earned for themselves. I didn’t stay personally in any of that but I’m sure going by your review I will consider it.

  2. The pool looks lovely! Especially when you can see the snow from the windows. Hopefully we are able to visit Montreal someday. We are in California, so I think our first visit to Canada will be to Vancouver. I have a feeling that I will love it.

    1. Imagine being in the pool during a snow storm. There’s a mountain in the distance on the left side of the building. It was such a beautiful sight. Hope you get to Montreal soon. It’s amazing.

  3. The pool definitely looks quite lovely! And I really enjoy how honest this review is. I always hate it when hotels close their restaurants early. It’s like what am I supposed to do if I get a sudden craving at 2AM lol! But I guess sometimes you just can’t have it all :/

  4. Looks like a clean and cozy place to stay. I am not a hotel stayer but if I would book one it should be like that. Not too big with a nice view and a pool of course! Tubs are not very common in hotel rooms I guess so this is a plus. If I ever get the chance to get to Montreal this would be a good option to stay ๐Ÿ™‚
