Season 2 Episode 3 Description

On the season 2 episode 3 show I talk about the lessons I learned going back to Finland after several years. Some things have changed, but others that have remained the same. The food and the culture continue to make an impact. I also talk about trying new things and connecting with more people. During this episode I also debut my new book. This is a book that captures season 1 of the podcast, focusing on how education professionals can use a variety of tools to live the life they want teaching from anywhere.

The book can be found on Amazon, using the link here: Loves Teaching, Will Travel

Why Finland?

There are people who always ask why I keep returning. In all honesty there is no reasoning behind it other than, I live the place, the people and the feeling I get when I’m there. The air is fresh and I truly feel like I can breathe when I’m there. As you listen to the season 2 episode 2 show, think about my words and the joy in them. Is there a place that gives you this feeling? If so, it’s important to think about how you can keep this level of joy when you return home, but also find a way to return to this place often or relocate all together. I’m a believer in slow travel and one way to accomplish this is through remote work. For educators this is being able to teach from anywhere. My new book is a great way to capture this feeling, for you to plan around your goals and execute them in a way that works for you and your life.
