I can never turn down an opportunity for good brunch. When I discovered L’escale Restaurant earlier in the year I new I had to visit. I put this place on my list of places to visit once I was vaccinated and made sure to visit on more than one occasion. Keep reading for more of why I think L’escale is one of the best places for brunch in Connecticut.

What’s On the Brunch Menu:

L’escale is located in Greenwich, CT. It’s right off the highway of I95. This means it will be easy to find. There is valet parking available to make life easy on arrival. The menu was something I noticed right away. There was so many options when it came to breakfast type items as well as light meals you could have in the mid-afternoon. From smoked salmon to pancakes there is something for everyone. I knew from the moment I tried the food I would want to come back. The quality speaks for itself.

The Atmosphere:

The atmosphere is like a Mediterranean restaurant. It’s like a villa on the water. The opportunity to eat on the terrace presented itself each time I arrived to dine, but I always enjoyed eating inside. The details in the décor really played up the feeling of being on vacation in Italy. The customer service was also amazing. If you are having a brunch date with friends, this is the place to do it. The host as well as the waitstaff were always attentive and remembered you when you returned.

It Won’t Break the Bank:

One major thing I have to say about this place is that it is surprisingly affordable. You won’t break the bank here, but depending on what you order, including drinks. The quality of the food is amazing. Everything I tried was fresh and delicious. You can expect to spend $60 to 80 here.

Brunch Like You Mean it:

L’escale is definitely the place for a weekend brunch date with friends or a visit with family. I had a great time here each time I dined. I would certainly recommend it to people I know. Be mindful the items on the menu are made to order, so be patient for it’s arrival. It’s worth the wait.
