Season 2 Episode 7 Description

This week for season 2 episode 7 I spoke with international teacher Tori McNealy. Tori began her teaching journey in the U.S., she worked not only in Florida as a public school teacher but in Atlanta as well. Unfortunately, like what happens with most teachers burnout hits. For Tori burnout pointed her in a different direction and this lead to a new life of travel and adventure. Tori now teaches in Abuja, Nigeria with a renewed joy for life and teaching. Keep listening to learn more about Tori’s journey as an educator.

Who is Tori McNealy?

For season 2 episode 7 I got to learn more about international teacher Tor McNealy, but who is Tori. After listening to this episode you will get a better idea. Tori started her teaching journey at a very young age, and enjoyed the work she was doing. But with burnout and a salary that didn’t allow her to actually live, she wanted change. Tori took the leap after some sage advice from another educator and began her journey as an educator in the Middle East. And the rest as they say is history. I was so happy to have Tori on the podcast and appreciated all the gems she shared. My hope is for listeners to walk away inspired and ready to take the next steps in their own journey, whatever it is.
