Season 2 Episode 12 Description

This week for season 2 episode 12 I talk about travel and leisure while teaching abroad. Whether you’re creating a routine for yourself, taking yoga classes or going on day trips, it’s important to find opportunities for leisure while you’re in your new host country.

Are you a teacher interested in teaching abroad? Check out my new book Loves Teaching, Will Travel: Inspiration to Teach from Anywhere that covers this very topic and more: https://a.co/d/5wvOiC7

Travel and Leisure While Teaching Abroad

Season 2 episode 12 highlights the importance of planning ahead. Teaching abroad can open educators up to more leisure time than they had before. This isn’t the time to plan your day from top to bottom. It might be best to start off small and plan for rest. Plan for simple things like daily walks or classes, like swimming or tennis. Connect with people in your new community and school. This is a great way to make even deeper connections. If you missed anything from the episode, remember you can always go back for another listen and take notes.
